Hey Group,
I have a Soundtronics Custom 300 that I have recapped and since it was wired for both 7027's and 6L6 I swapped to 6L6 and was wondering if the cathode resistors should be changed for improvement. The stock values were 100 ohm and I'm getting the 3 volts required for a 30mA bias but I have seen upgrades that use 1 ohm for bias adjustment.
Can/should they be changed without problems or for improvement?
Thanks
Jim
