Back in the day highly regarded valve amplifiers made by Leak, Quad, Radford and many others didn`t have delayed HT and nobody complained about them being unreliable...

Would anyone have complained if they had featured one?

I basically mess around with just big tubes. Rare expensive and with "important" power ratings. If anything can be done to even ensure safer or longer use i'll do it. In the 30 secs for warmup one has just enough time to find the best positioning in the listening chair.
