Default Single ended at 24Vcc 1+1W @ 8 ohm - three tubes

My new project

The performances are incredibly good in spite of such a low supply voltage.

Tubes: one 12FQ7 (or ECC82 with lower gain) and two PL504

Interesting concept. What are you using as output transformers? I wondered about 100v line transformers...

Edit: of course they're not gapped doh...

You can use Audio Transformers 600/8 ohm impedance (best results), or if you accept a little bit more distorsion and lower bandwidth, you can use line transformers 220/24 Vac not less than 35W power each.

Sorry to be dumb, but what is the point? You wanted to run a valve amp from the 24V battery supply of a lorry?

I use it connected to my laptop that has 24 Vcc power supply.
Laptop tube amp.
It still works quite well at 19Vcc (Acer Laptop), but it is better to use a dedicated laptop universal power supply at 24Vcc.

you could also use it at 12Vcc with a CC 2 CC car voltage doubler (12to24)
