Hello

I have collected parts for what I hope will be a happy marriage.

Output tubes: NOS 6BG6G from Emerson
Power traffo provides 425-430 volts when it is well stabilized and with 125 mA load.
Output transformer: 5k with 20% UL clamp (max. 90 mA).

Is this output transformer suitable for this tube (which is 6L6G with hat)?

Self biasing running with 50 mA.

I have made one amplifier with 6GB6G before, but only with 280 volt and in triode mode.

Regards

Benny

UL may be doable. You will need to keep screen dissipation under control. Put 1.5 KOhm resistors in series with the screen grids. Use meter matched carbon comp. parts and mount them right at the sockets. You get double duty from the CC resistors. They act as stoppers and current limiters.
