It seems there is no electrical differences between a NOS KT88 from the 60's and a Chinese KT88-98... however, I wonder how it will sound...
Does anyone have tried these chinese beasts?

Default Details of these Tubes

I have a set of 4 KT88 tubes called Avance KT88-98. Apart from being made in Denmark, I can find no other details on them. I have Googled the name but get no results. Does anyone know the provenance of these valves and perhaps the detailed specification?

IIRC The KT88-98 is made by Shuguang. I have no direct experience with this version of the KT88.

Edit: Deleted link to this thread...

Since this is a related thread I am going to merge them.

Edit: Merged

See Jim McShane's comments above about his experience with this particular tube.
