Does anyone have a PSpice model for the 6AS7? I'm using LTSPice and the embedded simulation software in Altium.
Working on my first OTL. Chose this tube because of its relative cheapness and availability and the octal socket. The low grid impedance is practically like driving a wire though and want to make sure I have some good simulation data before hacking up a breadboard. |

I have tryed this for multisim, but no id did not work, only faults like refdes U3 .
I have almost not a model working in these simulator, why I don,t now but it is just buggy of its own, and the pcb maker ultiboard is a lot more worse, a lot of components ware wrong, but it works very easy that is what I like. But maybe here somebody know why it gives that errrors,.. regards |

I have tryed it, it works but report faults see picture.
That I have seen more and don,t now what to do with it. Don,t mind, have found it ;-) Last edited by kees52; 27th December 2011 at 04:56 PM. |

What are you trying to simulate? I've done a lot of work with 6AS7 based Circlotron circuits- what do you need to know?

I am busy with a hybride version of circlotron mosfets who is driven by a long tail fasesplitter made from the 6as7 as a test after read something about that on the internet a while ago.
the big drive of the 6as7 gives a good way to drive the mosfet capacitances without losing bandwith, it simulates 5 hz to 1 Mhz distortion 1.2 procent full power most second harmonic, a tube sound is what I try to get. A cathodefollower with the 6as7 gives to much loss, so now I use anode follower but the mosfets are dc coupled to them and the sound you here on the link is a white cathode follower with a 6N6P. a normal hybride dc coupled 6n6p and mu stage 6h9c you can listen here, pc was direct coupled to amp output 1 volt to pc. 6H9C-mustage-0.7mA-idle.mpg - YouTube some patient while loading, something is wrong there on youtubate.
