I'm thinking this is a LEAK TL-12 - the very early version, and quite valuable if that is the case.
Edit: No I guess not, but definitely of UK provenance.. The transformers and general layout are wrong, although the construction details look very similar.

Looks like it could be a Allen Organ amp, although usually these are labeled.

Not a TL-12, unless that was made in two different versions with different layout and valves. It doesn't correspond to any of the amps in Stephen Spicer's book. Lineup appears to be EF86, ECC83, 2xKT66, GZ34. Classic 1950's design, though.

Not an Allen, made in Great Britain. Tubes have European id's (GZ34 vs 5AR4). Transformers are not potted Acro's. Construction and color does appear similar though.

Layout is different, but the TL-12 schematics I dug up were 5-20 with EF86 and ECC83. The gold color and construction style are suggestive.

Leak TL/12 50'th Anniversary

Never seen one quite like that, has shades of Pamphonic, so could be a special made specifically for the US market?

According to Spicer, the TL/12 had EF37 and ECC33. Pictures show all valves in one row along the edge of the chassis. The circuit SY linked to appears to show EF36 and ECC33. Note the top cap for the first stage grid.

Guys, EMI Orthotone STD 373 has been suggested. Attached are pictures from the underside if this helps. Vince
