Simple question- wiring up an amp but my actual tubes are in storage, so I can't easily inspect one.
Datasheet for 6DE4 indicates pin 2 is an internal connection, and says do not use 1, 4, or 6. I would like to use pin 6 as a junction. I do recall my 6DE4's only have a few pins brought out of the base, so this shouldn't be a problem. Does anyone have a 6DE4 to inspect and let me know if pin 6 is actually brought out of the base? Thanks a bunch- |

I have a 6DA4. Datasheet says the same thing. There is a pin 2 that appears connected to something. Pins 1, 4, and 6 are missing.
