Strage schematic...but there are no caps !

Well, yes there are caps - at the output! That is a cap.

Better to put some iron in the cathode of the output tube, imo... but costs more.

Also the output Z is going to be scary high unless that pot is set all the way up to the cathode... what will that do to bass response/freq response??
