Hi,
I have some EZ80 and PL509 tubes. What is the correct settings for my Hickok 539C tester? Unfortunately the PL509 settings missing, EZ80 found in my datasheet, but not working. I used for my EZ80 the following settings: Fil. Selectorts Bias Shunt Press Range 6.3 EV-0703-1 0.0 80 P3 G - Plate No.1 6.3 EV-0703-7 0.0 80 P3 G - Plate No.2 Anyone can help me? Thank You |

A PL509 can be tested as a 40KG6 which is very similar. From the Foreign supplementary data the settings are:
35v EV-1039-2, 27 bias, P4, D range, 2600 min mut cond (plate cap) Your settings for the EZ80 seem ok, except my book says EV-0107-7 for plate 2. (could be a typo? maybe try it)

Dear HollowState,
Thank you your answer. I can tested my PL509 tubes. EZ80 settings good, jus I mixed the setting lines. Next time keep my eyes on the lines :-) Do you have 539C too? My 539C is new for me and I have some question. Regads, Krisztian Quote:
