Can't get anything from my new pre-amp
Hello,
I recently bought an ART Tube MP Pre-amp, but being totally new to pre-amps can't get it to work properly. I've tried connecting my Condenser Mic in input1 and having another output into the following via/6.5 & XLR: EQ, Amplifier, Laptop and PC. But I don't even seem to get a signal, just noise, as it doesn't do anything when I make any sound into the microphone or lightly tap it. Phantom Power is on in the Pre-Amp and I also have the option of a 20db gain boost that I've played around with. The mic specifically is a Takstar PCM 6100 Cardoid Condenser. Any help right now would be greatly appreciated thankyou. |
