What Hammond for UK?
High all, having just completed a 16LS tube amp kit from S5 Electronics I have to say I am hooked on this heaven of sound.
I have been looking at something a little more challenging to build next and am tending towards the Boozhound primer using the 6V6GT tubes. Question is the site details the power transformer as a Hammond 270HX but this has a 115VAC primary and I need something to suit the UK at 240VAC. Can anyone please suggest a suitable choice. I am assuming that the audio output transformers can be selceted as is. Thanks Dave |
