I have a sears receiver with a 12ax7 and 6bq5 se it has 295 b+ . after looking around on the net. I am thinking that the OPT are probably smaller than most of the amp I have seen and was wondering if any one has advice on what’s best to build with these parts ? would like to run out put pentode mode. Thank you
It would be helpful if you could find the original model number and a schematic.
Off the hand, I'd recommend Baby Huey.

It is a long thread, but well worth reading as it is quite educational.

I have looked but no luck on finding it. It is a single ended amp with one 12 ax7 ½ for each channel and one 6bq5 for each cannel was going to pull the transformers and make a small power amp doesn’t’ have to be same design that it is just something that sounds good. It’s a receiver so it should have more power than it needs from the power supply just powering a power amp. Thanks for your response Gimp
