Bogen CHB100 Valve Question

So ive got a Bogen Challenger 100 watt that has been converted into a guitar amp with 1/4" in and outs. As far as i can tell these are the only mods beside the preamp 12ax7 representing both channel's gain and the power amp only running to one channel.

It sounds great and i am happy with the tone with my effects in front of it. NTM i bought it for 120 dollars just how it is. I am now wondering if there is a way to create more gain in the preamp and if anybody else has modded one to do so. Also if anyone has ever run 2xKT88 power tubes in one of these or if there is a way to do this at all? ive always loved the sound generated from KT88 power amp circuits.

Anything helps

Thanks

Ian
