Rectify using schottky diodes in a bridge and you might get pretty close to 6.3VDC for your filaments. A big cap will be required to get the ripple down to reasonable levels and a pi filter using a low DCR inductor of a few mH might be worthwhile. Nothing worse than ripply DC for filament heating - far worse than AC because of the high dvdt of the ripple voltage - it couples electrostatically into anything nearby and blasts through the cathode insulation..
