replacement for Ei 12BH7AEG

Hi, there:

I'm thinking to build a KT88 tube amp which was designed by Kobayashi long time ago. Ei 12BH7AEG are used in this design. This tube is really hard to find.
Is there any good replacement for this tube?

Would seem so, and I believe Sovtek/New Sensor has a current production version as well.

Ebay? Just search for 12BH7. There is a pair of GE's for $1.99, $5.85 shipping. Prices go all the way up to $100, but there are some bargains to be found.
