Default adjust filament ECC82/83

does anyone knows the sound difference between adjusting the
filament of an ECC82 6,3 V or 12,6 volt. and whats better to use and why? i have the possiblity to adjust the voltage between 6-13 volt
must it be precise 6,3 volt or is 6 volt better..

No difference in sonic performance between 12.6V series operation across pins 4 & 5 or 6.3V parallel operation between pins 4,5 & 9. The required current is double for 6.3V operation obviously.. (ECC82/83)

In phono stages (ECC83) they may be operated on 11V (5.5V) at lower plate currents for reduced noise. They're quieter this way but I am not so sure about their performance otherwise.

I prefer to run them as close to the nominal rated filament voltage as possible, and when using dc heating with certain Mullards it is a good idea to use some sort of current limiting during warm up. Don't ask me how I know this.
