Default Amp project help needed

I have a couple of Peerless 16458 output transformers I'd like to use in a new project. I don't really want to redo a W5 Heath, so I was thinking of a 6B4/6A3 PP or a 6550/KT88 single ended amp. Would these outputs be suitable? Any thoughts or schematics greatly appeciated. Thanks for any help!

Nothing against the Heath W5, just would like to try something different that others have found to their liking.

If it's a push-pull output transformer, you can't use it in a single-ended amp.

The transformer is not suited to SE applications at all. Those transformers are worth a great deal of money and selling them would probably pay for an entire Tubelab SSE amp or possibly even a Tubelab SE..

Alternatively you could build something with KT88 using a different topology than the W5 which IIRC was somewhat noted for instability.. You could probably do something similar to a Citation II for example..

Well, if I had a stash of 6B4G's, I'd probably build something like these:

6B4G Push-Pull Amp

That amp by Millet is one I've been looking at. Would the W5 transformers be a good match?

Not the best match if you're trying for max. power from PP 6B4G's. They were designed for a completely different tube.
