Default well-loved Sherwood "popping" prob mouse pee

It has started popping, and I believe mouse pee may at least partly be the problem, as when I pulled it apart I found significant rust spots all over the chassis and many seeds, poop pellets, and nest artifacts fell out. I cannot see any shorts w/ the lights out. I isolated the popping to one channel though by pulling a tube but, curiously, it affects both channels.

I will blow it out with high pressure air (120 lbs), but I am wondering if there is a solvent to use to get ionic precipitates out.

Notes on the stereo Sherwood (said to be last tube stereo):
This the amp that turned me around. I got it from the trash for its aesthetics, but, as it warmed up to an old MJQ record, even my cat got excited. W/ two Yamaha natural speakers (also from the trash) it is if the long-gone quartet is in the room, but interestingly only w/ tube-recorded records (from ebay).

I cross point two "tinny" satellite speakers at the naturals to cancel out undesired noise, and the sound gets even deeper. Amazing, why did we ever change?
