Heathkit returns! Think they'll make tube stuff again?

My father built their Television kit. It had fine-tuners for each channel (about 20 channels each assignable to any TV frequency.) The best thing was that HBO was in between ch 6 and 7 at the time and was not scrambled. So we had free HBO for years. Definitely left an impression on me regarding building things. He also built a car from a kit (Kelmark.)

Valve voltages will be considered too dangerous in our modern litigious society. I fear what you might get is preassembled circuit boards, full of surface mount stuff, so all you have to do is mount it in a box and join the wires.
