Sorry for the double post, I am on my mobile.

Do be careful prying the inner race off as it will put an axial load on the other bearing, possibly damaging it. Maybe it will fly off with the needlenose and heat.

Another option could be to pack something like thread around the gap between shaft and housing to catch any grit and grinding most of the way through the race with a small grinding wheel in a Dremmel. Careful not to put too much heat into it though.

Making a puller would probably be best.

I don't get it. Bifilament lamps have 3 connections. A DHT triode needs 4. What acts as the grid? And how does it work in an argon or xenon filled atmosphere?
