Is it possible to replace the ECL11 tube (tetrode)
ECL 11, Tube ECL11; Röhre ECL 11 (ECL11)
with ECL86 (pentode)
ECL 86, Tube ECL86; Röhre ECL 86 (ECL86)
ecl86 is pointed as a successor of ecl11
Here is the schematics>

- I don't know what to do with the supressor grid, which is connected to catode inside the tube

Hi !
Yes you can do that. Those adaptors were quite popular (in germany for sure) and they were available in shops. Look here, that's what you need: Inter ECL11 E / ECL 11 E Radio-Röhre, ECL86 + Adapter | eBay
Since the 965WK is a Superhet, the ECL11 is only used for low frequency amplification and can be substituted with the ECL86. You will even get more gain due to higher µ of the triode section. You don't have to worry about the supressor grid in the ECL86. It is connected to the cathode internally, that's where it should be connected.
There is a fabulous homepage where you can read more about using replacing old tubes (for radio use, nothing useful for audiophools here): Umsockeln_von_Roehren
Have fun with your radio, it's lovely one.
