I was just wondering what the gain equation is for a beam tetrode tube.

Remember that a beam power tetrode can be electrically equivalent to a power pentode. The EL34 is a power pentode and the "fat bottle" 6CA7 is a beam power tetrode that happen to be "interchangeable".
A reasonable approximation for the gain of a pentode is (gm) (net ZL).

You're better off using loadlines to determine this.
