Hello
Anyone know where I can locate a schematic for the Kay 503 Tube Guitar Amp? I'm not having any luck via Google or schematic heaven. Thanks for your time. Cheers, Marc P.S. There is a site that wants $15 at: Kay*Schematics |

Here is a PDF of a Kay 500. I don't know how different it is, but maybe it's close enough to work with.
Found it here:

Thanks HollowState
I'll compare what I find on the inside of the amp (hopefully still there and/or legible) with the 500. I also found a thread at another forum (harmony central) where someone thought the 703 and the 503 are basically the same??? Kay Amplifiers [Archive] - Harmony Central Forums Anyone know how similar/dissimilar the 500/503 and or the 503/703 might be? Cheers, Marc |

I forgot to mention that the 500 amp is a dangerous amplifier because it's direct from the AC mains! If the 503 is like this, use an isolation transformer!

If 503 and 703 are the same, then comparing the schematic to the amp should verify that.
Check out the Schematic Heaven link below, there are a bunch of Kay schematics, including the 703. See if any of them are useful. Bargain Bin Heaven Amp Schematics - Airline Garnet Gretsch Hagstrom Kalamazoo Kay Magnatone Selmer Silvertone Supro |
