Default I need a schematic for a amp project

I need a schematic for a monster amp project

what I have to work with:

4 x 200w OPT (NOS)
2 x Chokes (NOS)
2 x UTC S-43 PT (NOS)

I also have anything else I need to complete this project.

As for tubes? I am open to any suggestions? I do have access to most any tubes needed. no mater how rare.

I am looking for like 125w per OPT for a set of 250w mono's and a stereo amp at 250w. Or if I can find the right plan I would go 2 x 250w mono's

It all depends on the schematic.

Thanks
WO

WO
OTP> winding primary and secondary? PP I think or SE
choke> current?

What about 4x gu50 pp class AB much power low cost.

More details about OPT are needed, to suggest something real.

Are you sure? a 200W OPT is masive. I think you would want to use it in a mono block just because you could not lift and transport a 200 WPC stereo tube amp.

What speakers are you planning to use?

You are going to have to measure and characterize that OPT. At the very least figure out the turns ratios. I assume a 200W OPT is for a push-pull amp. Are there ultalinear taps?

This seems like a near duplicate of your 200W amplifier thread, would you like to merge the threads?

I think "I need 200W" is different from "I have this Iron, what can I build".

This thread's OP already has the Iron. His power transformers are more modest and I doubt can do more than 100W. Best I could find is these are Chinese made (by UTC) 400 volt transformers but they don't spec the current from the 400V secondary but he has about 5A of 6.3 to work with or maybe 4A as running at the limit s not good.

So I think perhaps he could run a "quad" of 6L6, or KT66 tubes in each of two mono amps.

Hi Guy's,

I have been collecting parts and working on the chassises for the Mono's.

Sorry about the delay in coming forth with answers.

OK

The OPT are 5000K and will be going PPP

The power tyrannies are 525-0-525 450Ma 40-0-40 200Ma
6.3v@5A 5v@3A 5v@6A 6.3v@2A

Still on the fence on what tubes to use for 125w for EA mono.

And I am going to build seperate power chassies as the weight will be to much with everything on one board.

Anything else you need for info?

And thank you for your time.

WO

You got it all wrong???

The UTC OP are made in NY and are vintage NOS, They are UTC S-43 high output. Go search the specs?

These are just the right size
