Default Vintage tubes

I just got a collection of unused vintage tubes. Wondering if any of these could be used in guitar amplifiers? Or perhaps mic preamps? Telefunken EF804S was used in V76 V72 I think...?

You can make a good sounding guitar amp from practically any tubes.

Yes, of course they could be used. But what people forget is that the budget for a small 5W guitar amp is something like this
1) Tubes: $35
2) Transformers: $90
3) Chassis and cabinet hardaware, Tolex: $80
4) small parts, jacks, resistors, .. $25

So having a tube you can use is not such a big deal in a grand scheme of things it reduces your total cost by maybe only 15% Surprisingly tubes are not the major component of a tube amp. If anything is,it's the transformers.

Same applies to a mic preamp. Look at the cost of a new 10:1 Jenson input transformer, The kind inther Mumetal can. Those things are $100 each and brand new pre-amp tubes are about $9.95 each

But again, yes, you can use those tubes.
