I picked up a set of 2A3 mono blocks that I would perfer to build into a single amp. Unfortunately the mA rating on the chokes is to low to use just one of them. The HT Tx's are 450-0-450 so I would use a single Tx that is more suited to the 2A3. The mono blocks use a resistor to bleed off 33mA and produces 10 watts of heat that I want to eliminate. (They were built from salvaged pieces he had on hand)
So I was wondering if I could just parallel the circuits at the rectifier. I have omitted some detail in the attached sketch and hopefully just indicated the components and values that would have an impact on the rectifier. To model the load in PSUDll I would use a single side of the circuit and use H/2, R/2, uF*2, mA*2 for values. Can I do this?

Sure, or you can parallel the chokes if you prefer a single supply.
Fi does a dual pi-filter off one rectifier: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/fi5/hero_open.jpg Regards, KM

Thanks KM,
I didn't think of paralleling the chokes. But now that you mention it, would keeping the circuits parallel and using separate caps for C1 offer better sound quality?

As you're combining into a stereo amp I'd follow Don's lead (Fi pic), separate chokes/caps for each channel. You get some (power supply) isolation between channels. Note that if you use an indirectly-heated rectifier (5V4G, 5AR4) you would use pin 8 for a single cathode connection.

Its better to parallel the supplies than to run one single power supply.
You can get crosstalk on a single supply to two pre amps.
