i have just bought off ebay a musical fidelity x10d clone buffer preamp from min9988 the picture shows russian tubes and elna capacitors imagine my suprise when it turned up today with chinese tubes second hand wima capacitors and jamiCON electrolytics and being a totaly different item alltogether i have contacted this seller and his response is it sounds ok to him so could not see the problem, i can if i buy a bently i don't expect a skoda so anyone out there thinking of getting a buffer of ebay keep clear of this seller

You should take action through eBay when you receive a different item then auctioned. And leave them a negative FB. The seller cannot give you a negative in retaliation. And his rating is bad. Learn to stay away from any seller with less then a 99.5% rating unless you have a gambling problem. Especially in China!

most of the chinese sellers on ebay are very good and mostly helpfull i think i may have fallen foul of one rogue
