I know that the V2 used a pair of gyros to drive an analog computer to drive the internal vanes in the venturi and the external fin rudders - but that's where my knowledge ends. Has anyone got any detailed information on the architecture of this computer, or for that matter, any of the electronics used in the V2.
Cheers M |

Looks like a cracking piece of kit. Reminds me of the Smiths Industries auto pilot. I guess it is no coincidence that they look very similar, the Nazi stuff was captured and their technology was adapted.
I worked in R+O at Smiths during my apprenriship. Good times. Cheers Matt. |
