Hi all,
A quick question. I plan on building the line-stage part of Allen Wright's FVP5A pre-amp. The schematic specifies a 25K ww as the plate load for the 6922 gain stage part. I'm guessing a 2W-5W part would be suitable. Now I can't find that exact value so what should I do? Use a Mills 27k 5W? Series connect two smaller Mils? Parallel two 47k or 51k resistors? Or something else? In general is there any problem using resistor combinations as plate loads? Thanks, Rod |
