i have just received my new meng and upon first test it has a very noticeable hum from the transformers and also from my Klipsch Lascalas.
I understand there is chassis grounding issues with these amps. Could this be the cause of the 60hz hum and how would i go about grounding the chassis properly thanks in advance harvey |

Well, after searching again I found the info I was looking for about the chassis ground
![]() must have had a typo in my first search, but would still like some guidance/suggestions on the xfmr and spkr hum problem thanks again Harvey |

The transformer hum can be felt when touching the amp chassis or transformer cover.
It starts immediatley when the power is switched on and gets noticably louder as the tubes heat up. There is no hum with all tubes removed |
