I have eight of these Baldwin tone generator modules that I intend to use a chassis for various things. Each includes an 8 gang (actually two 4 gang) transformers which I believe were used in the frequency divider network. IIRC each has its own independent primary and secondary.
![]() ![]() I don't imagine that they are of good enough quality to be used as input trannies nor probably of the right ratios but I thought that maybe one side or the other might be used as a low current PS choke. ![]() alternately it looks like one might be able to take them apart and custom wind chokes on them. Do you think that might be possible? Not being a magnetics expert (or even reasonably competent) I don't know whether the common core might be a problem but I bet someone here knows. P.S. I wonder what those numbers on the windings mean...
