Adding Bal output to Akido
I have built a 6SN7 akido pre-amp and it works very well and I am pleased with the sound but I want to add balanced outputs. I was thinking of just using an opamp to invert the unbalanced output. while not true balanced, it would provide differential drive. But is there a better way? I would like something that is as colorless as possible. expensive transformers are not an option.
can a couple of opamps be used in a unity gain configuration and be colorless??
