Default Yaqin VK-2100 Static from one channel

Hey, so I've had a Yaqin VK-2100 for over a year now and a few months ago I started getting this wierd intermittent static from one channel. It doesn't matter what volume it is set to, doesn't matter which aux input i have selected, I have trouble shot and made sure it is not the one speaker. It seems to get more constant and more annoying as the amp warms up. I have also moved around the tubes to make sure it's not a bad tube. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

You could try pulling the tubes from the affected channel before switching the amp on, if the noise is still there then it indicates a problem in the solid state output circuit rather than the tubes.

Had the same problem, only moderately fixed. - Switch the cheap pre-amp tubes around to different sockets. Mine were crappy from the start and replaced with JJ's. -Find the massive VK-2100 thread here and other boards on how to adjust the bias and output levels. I still, at times, get the same "static noise" problem you have usually at power up. Mine slowly goes away as it warms up and is in use.

SO, I got new tubes and they sounds great, but now I have one channel that is clearly louder than the other. I can adjust the balance on my computer and the sound is great when I set it so that the balance is further to the right channel. But it seems I shouldn't have to do this right? I should be able to have the balance set to default and not have one side be louder than the other. I have tried all the troubleshooting I can think of: switched tubes, switched speakers, switched cables, switched input source, etc. I have narrowed it down to the amp, but what in the amp could be the issue?
