Hi,
I have a FM1 with multiplex. After many years of service it had a leaky can cap. i replaced the can cap with discrete 400V caps. I also replaced several of the resistors (R11, 13, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 32 89 and 90). Now i need to align it. Tubes all tested fine. I have the FM3 manual, is the FM1 alignment the same? The manual says that "i" should be able to listen to the radio at this point. all i get is FM noise. thanks for any suggestions |
