Hi There, new to the forum.
I have some quad 2 mono-blocks 4 to be precise that have come over from South Africa, They belong to my father who had them totally rewired and repaired in SA by a chap called Gunther. This chap apparently wired them up so that you can use them through 1 pair of speakers, thats right 4 amps 2 aside powering i pair of speakers with a single terminal output to each speaker. I have seen these amps they still have the jones connector buy all are fited with phono inputs. Out of two amps there is a fly lead with a male phono plug. On the all amps there are phono sockets set into the chassis. When my father used to set them up he would connect the fly leads of the two ams that had them to the other amp phono input we would plug the speaker cables into the amp at the end of the chain. My question i guess is, Is this possible? |
