Input caps for Motorola Console Amps

I'm converting a Motorola 3-channel 12AX7/6BQ5 amp to stand-alone use. In addition to the power switch, fuse, volume control, and replacing caps and resistors as needed, I'm wondering about adding input caps to protect against stray DC from the sources.

Since these were dedicated amps for a specific preamp, some of the circuitry is in that dedicated preamp, like the power switch. The preamp has .05 uF output caps to block DC going to the amp. When using another source, the amp is lacking this protection. Does it make sense to add the .05 uF caps to the inputs of the amp?
