Has anyone tried tx2575 in cathode resistor?

has any of you guys tried Vishay Z-FOIL RESISTOR TX2575 in cathode resistor position for preamp?

how does it compare with the tantalum resistor?

Yes, I tried them in the input stage of an ECC82 as a cathode resistor. I like it a lot. It opens up everything , excellent soundstage, wonderful seperation of any instrument and they have beaten any other resitor I´ve heard before.
I´ve compared them to very good carbons at the cathode, but the difference
was incredible. My cirquit is very `detail giving` ...and the TX2575 help a lot. And you can design the sound by their direction you solder them in. Pay damn attention to the working point of the tube...because they sound v e r y open...I´ve changed the value of Rk a n d B+ and now the sound of my preampis amazing.

Or, in other words, old cirquits have to be changed, because till today, resistors have stolen a lot of music until today...

They simply sound less like parts....But you have to try with your ears, if you really want to know. They´l sell you just 2 resistors, if you want...
