I just got this amp
the guy said that is amp 2A3
Can some one identify this amp and give me a hint to operate this amp?
I believe the transformer is HADLEY

I concur in your analysis. That thing is OLD. I see no evidence of 'lytics, whatsoever. Is that a rubber band I see holding a 0.1 μF. axial lead cap. in place? That might be the only cap. that needs "automatic" replacement, as the PSU parts seem to be "oilers". I wonder what is concealed by the tape wrapping. Do you think that there a 2 channels, for a pair of speakers? Where are the power and I/P signal connections?
