Sonic Frontiers Line 2 schematic

Hi all,

I have bought in a sale an used and in non working conditions Sonic Frontiers Line 2 preamp and its separate power sypply. As I heard that it's a nice gear I would like to restore it. I'm looking for it's schematic or service manual, thanks for any info.

Hi, I am also looking for the schematic for the Line 2, but mine has been to PCX for the SE+ upgrade, but has developed problems after the upgrade, static noise coming from the speakers, and no signal from the right channel in SSP mode. The unit has been in and out of PCX for few times, but came back with the same problem.
Yesterday, tried powering it on, found that 2 tube in LV1 & LV2 does not lit up and no sound from the left channel. Schematic or any infomation or experience is much grateful.

I did not have time to look inside of my line2 yet but I found the schematic on a forum ( russian I guess). I can't find the website now. Give me one or 2 days I will be back.

Hi,

I dig this post out because I have opened my Line2. The problem is that I have no output signal.

By investigating with the schematic I found that the problem is related to the digital volume control which is made with two CS3310. If I short CS3310 input (pin 9 for instance) and output (pin 11) I obtain output signal (on left channel) at full volume. I did the same with pins 16 and 14 I obtain output signal on right channel at full volume. Both CS3310 are dead or something is wrong with the CS3310 control signals ?

Did anyone experienced such problem before on the Line 2? Thanks for any info.
