They're all closely related, but not identical.

6N6P is a Russian-made twin triode (medium mu, 9 pin mini). Pin-out is same as ECC88, 6DJ8 and kin. 6.3V filament on pins 4 and 5.

ECC99 is a similar European tube, but slightly higher mu, slightly higher anode resistance, a little different electrically from 6N6P. Pin-out is same as 6N6P, 6.3 volt filament.

E182CC = 7119, which is similar to the ECC99 but with different 5687-style pin-out. Also, E182CC has a 12.6V filament that can also be wired to use 6.3V.

5687 is an American type, very similar to 6N6P electrically, but with a different pin-out (same pin-out as E182CC or 7119, also 12.6V/6.3V filament).

There are two basic pin-out configurations -- 5687 and E182CC have one type (12.6V/6.3V filament), ECC99 and 6N6P have more commonly encountered type (6.3V filament only).

Thanks rongon

I have googled about the tubes and come to the same concluesion but one question remains, the heaters. Looking at tube data of the ECC99 and 6N6P pinout of heaters they don´t look the same, or are they?

Cheers

I should read the data sheets before I go blabbing on the internet!!

You're right, the ECC99 does not have the same heater as the 6N6P.

The 6N6P has a plain old 6.3V heater on pins 4 and 5, like ECC88, etc.

The ECC99 has a center-tapped heater, with pins 4 and 5 being the ends of the filament, and pin 9 the center tap. Similar to ECC83, etc.

So the ECC99 DOES HAVE A DUAL-VOLTAGE FILAMENT (12.6V/6.3V).

I was wrong.
