Does anyone have experience with building a NOS DAC using the TDA1541A Chip and DHT in the analog section?

Yes, I've experimented with it.
I basically used the Ciuffoli circuit with a 46 output stage. Jim |

I recently designed a DHT/TDA1545. Sounds great. Bardis wanted to upgrade some DAC from diyparadise. Got help from Thorsten L. to optimize the chip.
About the 1541 it should be no problem with passive load and directly into the grid. Sorry, the thread is in Swedish. HiFiForum.nu - NOS RÖR DAC

How Do you guys get enough gain from the 46 and 3A5?
The TDA1541A put out 25mV. Some people use the 6C45 tube which has an amplification factor of 52. |

If you want more gain you can build a cascode with a 2SK170 below and 3A5 on top. No problem with gain of 3-40dB
