6360 or 6939 as a phase inverter

Does anyone have any thoughts on using the 6360 or 6939 as a phase inverter?

Never used either one myself, but it certainly looks like either one would work as an LTP splitter/power amp. Use an active tail load, PP OPT, and insta-final. PP, Class A, and it'll work. Might also serve as a beefier than usual LTP splitter for driving more powerful finals.

Just remember to supply the screens from an active regulator, and you're good to go.

I have used a 12L8GT dual power pentode as a phase splitter. Very low transconductance. These look as they would do a similar job - but on overdrive. I would certainly consider them.
