Hello all,
I am working on a 3 stage tube amp project based on 813. For the output transformer I have chosen 10k impedance for primary but I am confused for the secondary. I am planning to use Klipschorns which are stated as 8 ohms, but I recently have found their Impedance to Frequency specifications which seems to be 4 ohms on low frequencies. What do you think shall be the secondary of the output transformer based on the impedance to frequency plots of the horns?

If they say 8 ohms on the back then go with 8ohm secondaries. Its better to go too low then go too high. That graph doesnt make sense unless its just for one woofer and not the whole speaker.

And both impedance plots are consistant... be nice to have 3D software displays of impedance (rotatable). dave
