5C8S rectifier psud2 modle/rectifier information
 

spent a few hours matching the datasheet curve and data to the psud2 model i made. figured i'd share for anyone who wants to use this beastly rectifier.


some information:
this is a full wave rectifier.
socket: rsh6(the 8 pin large russian socket)
5v filament(big surprise with model # lol) rated at 5A 30 watts
max reverse voltage: 1700 V which means you can rectify up to 600v RMS on transformer side
max nominal current: 420 mA
max envelope temperature: 200 C

about 50v voltage drop at 400 ma, 40v at 300ma

found out that max peak current is 1.4 A but datasheet appears to claim 1.2 A. going by how beastly this tube is, i believe the 1.4

Forgot to add, Im presently using this rectifier to power 5 807's and 9 pre-amp tubes. it has no troubles at all. The power supply simulation perfectly matches my measured results.
