Default OP & tube power transormers

Hello
I would like to know if someone used or know about these transformers?
One of my friend who designed transformers warned me these transformers with the shared parameter impossible to be real!
1 output transformer SE 3.5K / 5K EL84 6BM8 ELL80 6BQ5 on eBay.ca (item 300502785423 end time 09-Mar-11 12:14:51 EST)
1 power transformer tube Amp Preamp 6BM8 EL95 ECL86 on eBay.ca (item 300498610035 end time 29-Mar-11 02:25:47 EDT)
I have not much experience with transformers
Any advise, comment welcome
Thank you
Greetings gabor

These appear to be good quality. They are definately in the minimalist cost, commercial production size, range. This is not bad at all, but you must make sure that your expected current loads, in AC terms, suit the specs.

Gabor,

Am I missing something, or is there a drawing error in your schematic? Looks like the anode of V11A should go to the emitter of Q2 and not the anode of V5.

Hello

Please go to the Japanese website you can study the schematic there.
I didn't draw the schematic.
In case if there is a mistake it would be good to know!

Well, that should teach me not to reply to technical questions late at night...

I have checked the original article, Gabor, and the schematic connections does indeed seem to be intentional. Unfortunately I cannot help you with your original question, though I would very much like to hear about your experiences with this design, once you have built it.

- Frank.
