Default ok maybe im just a newb when it comes to amps but...

I have done a lot of searching and I havent found anywhere that talks about going from looking at a schematic to designing the layout of your circuit board. Am I just being thick headed and really dont understand any of it, or is there some hope for me? lol

Anyways, Im looking at building a svt-cl. I have the schematics for the preamp and power amp, its just converting them to a layout i need help with. I would prefer to work point to point wiring, if that will make any design differences. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Check out the "Radiotron Designer's Handbook" from RCA, edited by Langford Smith. The fourth edition was published in 1953 and holds a wealth of information applicable to your needs.
