Yet another compactron to play with...

Greetings everyone...
Got some 7984's to play with on the weekend. Thinking of 500v Eb, 250v G2 and 5K P2P. Thinking ~30ma/tube idle.

Nice, 20 watt plate and no plate cap. Vendors sell 'em for $12 each, I'm guessing you did better?

I remember seing some of those in a box somewhere. Not sure where I put them but they came from a radio transmitter and had some little brothers for drivers. I stashed them when I figured out that they wouldn't plug into the red board without some serious hacking.
