Triodes from Russia

My father-in-law wants to bring me from Russia some tubes. What would you recommend? Any good power triode from Russia ?

It sounds very, very good and is sufficiently expensive outside of Russia to justify the trouble.

Many surplus Russian tubes are available worldwide quite cheaply so it pays to be choosy and grab types that are less common and more expensive in Japan. Take a look at what tubes are available on eBay and what their typical cost with shipping would be. Look for the rarer and more expensive types, and not necessarily just triodes. 4P1L would certainly also make this list IMHO..

- 6N30P ( 6Н30П )
- 6N23P-EV ( 6Н23П-ЕВ ) similar to 6922
- 6N6P ( 6Н6П ) similar to 5687
and last but not least 4P1L ( 4П1Л ) and 6S4S ( 6С4С )
