Default E130L SE again

I visited a friend who had completed a E130L SE amplifier. It sounded reasonable, I must admit.
When I had the most pieces in the stock, I will now make a similar. The only change is that I have some octal driver tubes I want to use. In the "original" is used EF86 and I want to use EF36A / 6J7.

I know that the EF86 is the successor to EF36A/6J7 tube, but they are hardly replacements (There, I look away from the base and top cap).

Some experienced people who can help.

Regards

Benny

I'm no expert by a long shot, but to me, EF36 looks pretty close to EF86, apart from the base/connections obviously. It seems that EF36 is usually suggested to be used with a lower screen voltage than EF86 (see e.g. here: EF36 @ The National Valve Museum), so you might want to modify that in the schematic. Other than that, EF36 is a bit less steep, which might be an issue in getting full power out of the EL130, but I'm not sure if that's really a problem in a real life situation (esp. if you use high efficiency speakers and don't need all the power anyway; I know that with my 40-year old Philips drivers, I only need max. 2x 500mW for my smallish living room. More will bring out the neighbors...).
